Have a Date Night With Macaroni Grill and Wanchai Ferry

I met Mr. Right online back in 2003 in an AOL chat room of all places.  On our first date he drove an hour and a half to be with me. He took me to Macaroni Grill which has become a favorite date night restaurant for us. I remember enjoying a fabulous dinner and sharing a Tiramisu with him.

Mr. Right and I on our honeymoon in 2004

Now 6 years and three kiddos later we don't have the luxury of going out often ALONE much anymore. But we do love to feed the kids an early dinner, put them to bed and enjoy a nice meal and a great movie just the two of us once the noise has died down.

Now we can enjoy the classic restaurant entrees in the convenient comfort of home without spending hours in the kitchen. Your favorite table is always ready, so Stay In and Go All Out!® With Wanchai Ferry and Macaroni Grill Dry Dinner kits you can have still have your date night without spending a lot of money.
We enjoyed the Creamy Basil Dinner Kit from Macaroni Grill and the Orange Chicken from Wanchai Ferry. Both were easy to make and all we needed to add was the meat. It was quick and easy. Perfect for when we have both been on our feet all day.  I loved both dinners and am looking forward to buying a few other dinner kits. The other kits include: Cashew Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Spicy Chicken , Chicken Piccata, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Alfredo, Garlic and Herb Chicken as well as the other two kits I mentioned.

How would you like your own date night at home?

Sounds awesome right?

I thought so too.

Which is why I'm giving away a Date Night Prize Pack which includes one Wanchai Ferry dry dinner kit, one Macaroni Grill dry dinner kit, and a $25 Visa gift card so you can create a romantic date night at home.

  1. Robert and I went to high school together. We both married other people and 10 years later ran into each other at a gym in Greensboro. Our first date was taking my 2 boys to Pizza Inn for dinner. With both of us having children already we didn't have many "romantic" date nights. Having a 32 year old son still living at home doesn't give us many opportunities now either.
would love to be the winner if Jake can come hang out with your family. lol

  2. Our first date was in Disneyland of Japan, it was fun and I remember we had a dinner at a fancy traditional Japanese restaurant.

When we met through a mutual friend we actually hated each other. After hanging out for several months we started being friends. For 2 weeks straight he would pick me up and we would go hang out with friend. he would hold my hand each time. Finally our first date was at Asahi Japanese Steakhouse in Greensboro. I had never been. He asked what I liked chicken, steak or shrimp. Of course I like them all so that's what he ordered for me. It was a fabulous night. We try to back there every time we can. That was almost 16 years ago.

  15. Aw, how fun! Cute picture of ya'll! :)

My first date was with my fiance when we were in high school. He took me to a Denny's restaurant! 9 years later, we're engaged and planning our wedding!

It'd be so nice to win this. We're on a tight budget saving for our wedding. This would help save us some money eating in and enjoying a nice date night at home.

  23. My wife and I actually met online through Match.com. I was constantly traveling for work so it was nice to get to know her online first. We sent a couple emails back and forth and then we would chat on instant messenger. It was nice to have something to look forward to after a 12-18 hour day of travel.

Finally after two weeks of talking back and forth I landed back home for a week and we decided to meet for dinner. We were going to meet at a restaurant call Three Tomatoes and a Mozzarella which was close to her place and had just opened up. It was nice finally being able to see her in person. She talked the whole time we were there and I got little in myself. I originally thought it was just her nerves, but I learned she is just very open and have come to love it about her. The food was okay and the company was great. I didn't think she liked me much and left thinking I probably wasn't going to get a second date. But I sent her flowers the following day anyway and said thank you for the date in the card. Maybe that was what sold me... :)

Funniest part of the whole thing. I had flown in that afternoon and had only had time to drop off my bags, shower and change before leaving again. I was starving and very thirsty. Since she was talking the whole time it worked out that I ate WAY too much but worse was I drank three large Ice Teas. After I walked her to her car I went back to the restaurant to pee, but their Mens room was closed. So I decided to drive home and it was the hardest thing to not just pull over to the side of the road and go. I was in agony! :) But we lived in Vegas at the time and there are no trees to jump behind on the side of the road.

In the end, six months later I knew she was the one for me so I proposed and she has made me a very happy man.

  47. We had known each other for years but never dated. However, when we ran into each other after not seeing each other for years, it was like love at first sight. For our first date, I think we just did dinner and a movie, and we've been inseparable for the past 8+ years! (P.S., you and your man are so cute! My cousin met her husband on AOL too, back before online dating sites even existed, and they're still happy over ten years later!)

We met online, too--our first date (after an initial coffee meetup) was to Dave and Buster's. Great idea (his), as there was a LOT of stuff to see and talk about.

Thanks for the chance to win!
