Get Ready for Baby Giveaway

Last week I hinted about an upcoming giveaway from Baby Cribs Plus for those of you who are expecting or know someone who is. If I was having a baby (which isn't happening) I would love to have this item that I chose to give away.
Seriously.

It is just too cute!

Want to know what it is?

I'd be glad to hold off for another week if you wanted. But I'm thinking that you would rather me go a head and show you already right?

Ready?

Drum Roll Please . . . . . .

Is this not cute?

It's gender neutral just in case your still not sure what you are having or if you are just leaving that for a surprise.

This beautiful crib set is made by Simple Luxury and includes one comforter, two valances, one skirt, one fitted crib sheet, one bumper, one diaper stacker, one toy bag, and one pillow. The sheets are 100% Egyptian cotton and Machine Washable.

We all have stories about our pregnancies and each one is different.  Tell me one thing you craved or one weird symptom you had or are having while your pregnant. Leave me a comment to enter.

To recieve more entries:
  • Go to Baby Cribs Plus website, browse around and tell me what your favorite item  is.

    1. That crib set is adorable and would be wonderful for the baby girl I am expecting in July!

This is my third child, and I've never craved anything to weird, but I do have a sort of funny story. When I was pregnant with my son(baby #2) I was a waitress part time. I have BIG babies and my belly towards the end needs it's own "wide load" sign. Well, I was trying to refill this man's water glass at a table and to get it, I had to reach across his daughter's plate. I did just that and without even realizing my monstrous belly was a hazard, I tipped the little girl's soda into her lap with it as I reached for her dad's glass! The worst part about it was I didn't even know it had happened until the little girl jumped up really fast. lol. Luckily, they were really gracious about it!

    3. As far as food cravings go, crave anything that would have turned my stomach when not pregnant. They say that your cravings are a tip from your body telling you what you are lacking in nutrition but my experiences left me doubting that since bologna and hot dogs don't fall in any of the food pyramid's major food groups and I could literally have eaten this yucky stuff morning, noon and night as well as for a midnight snack, even through the morning sickness phase. Nothing else was appealing to me, just pass the bologna!

This may not seem strange to others but I never cared for hot dogs that much or ate a bologna sandwich in my life until I got pregnant.

    6. I'm getting ready to have my 4th baby in May. I have a nearly 3 and 4 year old at home. They always like to 'talk' to the baby, but 'have' to pull up my shirt so she will hear them - lol. Well, I'm nearly at the end of my pregnancy and my stomach is huge! My almost 4 year old was 'talking' to the baby the other day and asked - "mommy, what's that"? Pointing to my belly button. As I had to struggle to look down to even see it myself, I had to laugh out loud... it really doesn't look like a belly button anymore since it used to be an innie and now it is starting to protrude.... but I told her "it's my belly button"... she looked very confused with a look as if to say "no it isn't", so I then tried to gather some skin around my BB, and push it in so it would look like my old BB - she then recognized it and said "OH"! It just cracked me up!

    13. I'm past having kids (I hope), had six. With the first I craved non food stuff...I HAD TO HAVE a pumpkin and Cat tails for my porch....I drove 60 miles looking for someone selling pumpkins (30 years ago, they weren't sold in the local stores) and I had my brother get all sopping wet getting me cattails from the pond! Years later, remembering that craving, we started growning pumpkins to sell roadside...am still doing it, but compitition is tough with the stores selling at minimal prices.

    19. Hm I'm not expecting but would love to give this to someone I know who is! How about a blip regarding the time my mom was pregnant with me? Well, she ended up eating EVERYTHING when expecting me. She gained so much weight (let's just say about half of what I weigh now as a healthy twentysomething), but was fortunate to lose it without too much difficulty!

      Thanks for the nice giveaway!

    20. Ooh fun! I just barely found out that I am pregnant with my 3rd. This is so cute!

During my first 2 pregnancies I liked pickles. Chocolate too, but I always like chocolate. I also craved Taco Bell crunchy tacos. Mmm. I could have eaten that every single day.

My weirdest craving had to have been pickles dipped in mayonase, which I NEVER eat mayonase so it was really weird. I'm expecting baby number 3!

    26. Did the extra entry post first by accident - here is the mandatory post...

    32. So cute! I'm going to be completely honest, I'm just starting fertility treatment because I'm not ovulating, and it's horrible but I'm hopeful. I'd LOVE to win this for myself but if that isn't happening any time soon then I'd definitely be giving it to my friend who IS pregnant. I'm hoping for a miracle for me though :)

And FWIW, I'm really happy you chose a gender neutral pattern. That's something my husband and I are very big on :)

    39. With my first, I craved chocolate all the time. One time in particular, I remember crying like a baby because we didn't have any in the house. Oh...and I remember another time I sent my husband out to the store at 11 pm to get Krispy kreme.
Now that I'm pregnant with our second, I can't say I crave ANYTHING. For the first trimester, I was either too nauseous to want to even think about food or too sick with headaches to swallow anything but water.

When my hubby was a student and we had our first I was given a rocker, and a little ottoman. The arm rests and putting my feet up helped so much with breast feeding. It gave me the perfect set up for really getting the hang of nursing my baby.

    58. With my daughter, my weird pregnancy symptom was that I thought I had a hernia! I was a prior csection and I went to my gyn for a annual and I explained what was going on. They said that they didnt think I had one but if it got worse make an appt w/ my regular dr. Two weeks later I got a missed period and a positive test! When I went to my first OBGYN appt asked them what was going on and it turns out that I had adhesions.

But still I laugh to this day about it :)
